Sander Temminck, Managing Director, has lived Panama since 2005. He realized the growth potential of Panama after several trips and immediately moved there. He has been involved in real estate ever since starting out at King Fisher Bay, a large island property of 6,600 acres (Pearl Islands Archipel). Sander Temminck, Managing Director, graduated from University of Groningen, Holland, in 1999. In 2003 he moved to Poland to be involved in the acquisition and management of the purchase of the Polish State insurance company PZU for Eureko, a large Dutch insurance company. Recognized in 2005 the growth potential of Panama, moved there and commenced the acquisition, management and sale of King Fisher Bay, a large island property of 6,600 acres Pearl Islands Archipel). After that he set up his land advisory company, Pan American Land Advisors in Panama City. He had a leadership role in the purchase of Playa Grande, a 1,200 acre resort in the Chiriqui Province, completed the master plans and preliminary approvals. Presently involved in partnerships in 2 other master-planned communities. In the current project he is taking on the role of Managing Director and CEO of Visions Development Company. Robert V. Gibbs, Deputy Managing Director, has been involved in Panama since 1967, for military training as an officer in the US Army. He later returned as a lending officer in 1972 with Chase Manhattan Bank. He was in charge of governmental lending in Central and Northern South America. In 1975, he joined Banco Real, a Brazilian bank, as the head of global syndications. In 1977, he started what is today Unipart Capital Associates with concentration of capital debt and equity in Latin America and Global Markets. He co-founded Middle States Development Company in Baltimore, Maryland in 1980 which was one of the leading developments companies in the Ocean City, Md area which included the ownership, development and management of "Ocean Pines " a fully integrated large resort located close to Ocean City. Mr. Gibbs served as director of the Hilton Head Company located in Hilton Head, S.C., the largest beach and golf resort in the Eastern United States. He has lived and worked in Latin America for over 35 years and now is direct investing in Panama real estate and living in country six months of the year. He is the managing founder of Rivery Investment and Management Inc, a Panamanian company, located in Panama City. He has a BA in Foreign Languages and Economics from Rutgers, Class of 65, and a BS from Thunderbird School of International Management, Class 1969. He served in the US Army as an Infantry Officer with a tour in Viet Nam in 1967 and 1968. He was awarded the Silver Star, The Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman's Badge, and other awards. Melba Guerra, Director of Development, was born in Cuba and has been involved in the construction and development of large-scale projects for the past twenty-five years. Melba Guerra, Director of Development, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Barry University and FIU with an MBA with a concentration on Management and Finance. She continued with courses for a specialist degree at FIU on track for a Doctoral Program in Management. She is also a is a member of the US Green Building council and a Leed Accredited Professional qualified to certify projects in accordance with the approved Green Building standards. Ms. Guerra became a pioneer in developing systems and controls for the construction industry. She was a Construction Management professor at FIU teaching in the Graduate program under the college of Engineering. She developed the curriculum for courses in Project Development and Economic analysis in Construction Projects. She has been President of a construction company with over 150 employees and has been involved in major construction projects in infrastructure development and vertical construction in the high rise residential, hospitality and institutional areas. As an independent consultant over 20 years, Ms. Guerra has represented investors, banks, and financial institutions involved in development, construction and financial investments in multi million dollar acquisitions. Currently is the president for Quantum Consulting, which provides development, construction management, and financial services to the real estate industry, Mrs. Guerra has also been involved as a developer and partner in various projects. Mark Lichtenwalner, Director of Operations, was born in Vietnam, spent his youth with his American family in the Middle East, and received his degree in Hotel Administration from the University of New Hampshire in 1980. Presently he is the COO of Westport Senior Living, managing the operations and sales of 2 Continuing Care Retirement Communities. He has over 26 years of experience in the hospitality and senior living fields. He worked for Marriott International for 18 years in numerous operations positions including Area Manager, Vice President of Revenue Management for Marriott’s Northeast Region (20 Hotels), General Manager, Director of Sales and Marketing and Food & Beverage Director. He has extensive experience in Sales and marketing as the Vice President of Revenue Management for 20 hotels. He worked with the team that pioneered yield management strategies for Marriott. Mr. Lichtenwalner also has extensive experience opening new hotels and senior living communities and has successfully turned around several challenged operations. Close

She has 11 years experience in marketing, ranging from business analyst to product marketeer. In the Netherlands she was the country marketing manager for a stock noted consultancy firm and responsible for a team of 8 fte and over 2 million euros budget. Her main experience is in lead marketing and database marketing. In Panama she has worked in several real estate projects, with brokers and a reforestation company, dealing with international clients. Close
